"Heartwarming Treats: Creating Lovely Jam-Filled Cookies in Easy Steps"

Hello, my lovely readers! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite recipes: jam-filled cookies. These cookies are so delicious, soft, and chewy, and they have a surprise filling of your choice of jam. They are perfect for a cozy afternoon snack, a sweet gift for your loved ones, or a festive treat for any occasion. And the best part is, they are super easy to make. You only need a few simple ingredients and some basic tools. Let me show you how to make these heartwarming treats in easy steps.

Ingredients:

- 3/4 cup (170 g) of unsalted butter, softened

- 3/4 cup (150 g) of granulated sugar

- 1 large egg

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- 2 and 1/4 cups (280 g) of all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

- 1/4 teaspoon of salt

- 1/4 cup (80 g) of jam (any flavor you like)

Tools:

- A large mixing bowl

- A medium mixing bowl

- A hand mixer or a stand mixer

- A cookie scoop or a tablespoon

- A baking sheet

- Parchment paper or a silicone mat

- A small spoon

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar with a hand mixer or a stand mixer until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat well until combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.

4. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.

6. Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, scoop out balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.

7. Using your thumb or the back of a small spoon, make an indentation in the center of each ball of dough.

8. Fill each indentation with about 1/2 teaspoon of jam, being careful not to overfill them.

9. Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.

10. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy your jam-filled cookies with a glass of milk, a cup of tea, or by themselves. They are so yummy and comforting, you will want to make them again and again. You can also experiment with different flavors of jam, such as strawberry, raspberry, apricot, or even Nutella. The possibilities are endless.
